Decisions… Decisions…

I can’t make up my mind.

I’m stalled on deciding how to quilt the Etchings Argyle Nine Patch.

My current favorite quilting design.

I’m hoping that the quilting is close enough to get the “puckered” effect after washing. I’m thinking not; I think I’m going to have to quilt something in those white squares. For scale, the white squares measure 2 inches by 2 inches.

I’m doing a test patch of the medallion quilt design a little later tonight to see how difficult it is to FMQ. With that design, I could easily quilt it with a walking foot. I think I’ll try both ways and see.

Heredity Bytes

At last, proof that hoarding is genetic! My mama hoards too, though she hoards wire wrapping tools instead of fabric.

I’m still working on the Etchings argyle nine patch quilt. I’ve finished the top!

It goes on forever!

I feel like there should be dramatic music here or something.

A small detail in the infinite length of this quilt top...

Something with booming tympani, I think.

Another Star Wars view...

There should be a trumpet fanfare.

Here's a view of the top, without the dramatic perspective.

Does anyone know John Williams’ number?

Now, on to designing the quilting…
